Pandolfini was founded in 1924 by Louis Cavalier Pandolfini with sales of furniture, furnishings and objets d'art. In the second half of the forties, Pandolfini begins with increasing frequency, to organize auctions of furniture, furnishings, antique paintings of the nineteenth century and belonging to large hotels, residences and villas in the Florentine nobility, large private collections clearly belong to the heritage of Tuscany.  *****  In the early fifties, with the increase in the quality of the items offered and with the intensification of the auction sessions, it became necessary to search for a home, where present art auctions and antiques. These were the years in which Pandolfini transfers its assets in Borgo degli Albizi 26, on the main floor of the important building Ramirez Montalvo and begins to offer the public catalogs prepared in accordance with the needs of a more demanding market.  *****  However, one must wait until the nineties to realize a more decisive structural change both in terms of the organic vision and sales target that tries to aim for a more national and international market making brokerage business more competitive with the desire to quickly reach a management company organized according to the most advanced criteria. The results were immediately apparent and in the space of a decade Pandolfini is now one of the top players in the Italian volume of trading and also international recognition in all fields of collecting. This is also thanks to a dedicated staff to serve the most demanding customers who tries to interpret the needs volgendole a profit.
